Weaving Great Technologies into a Tight Budget

Continuing the need to share frugal Information Technology practices during a down economy, I recruited my friend Jim Cooke, Vice President, of Network Media Partners to help share great, free open source resources, inexpensive cloud productivity tools and the concept of recycling hardware at this session at the 2010 ASAE Annual Meeting. Engage Your Members Using Mobile Devices

Mobile is truly the next technology opportunity for associations to create value for members as a communications tool, selling platform, events reference and more — the problem is, most associations don’t realize it. In this session at the 2010 ASAE Annual Meeting, I recruited Jeff De Cagna of Principled Innovation LLC and Joe Romeniecki of ASAE, friends who share the vision of this promise, to help convince our peers of the mobile value proposition. Although my particular device du jour was an iPhone, same thing happens on the millions of iPads, Androids and Blackberries on the market today. And these devices will only grow in number. Is your business ready? We share a few strategies to get you up to speed with the massive smartphone trend. We invited our mutual friend C. David Gammel, CAE, of High Context Consulting, LLC to present with us.
